Where did mafia-empire.com go?

Hi everyone,


 




I've been looking at all of these wonderful mods for Mafia II, but most (if not all) of them link to mafia-empire.com, generally citing it as the nexus of all mafia modding resources. According to the Waybackmachine, it seems like mafia-empire.com disappeared around the turn of 2010-2011. Can anyone explain why?
