Help installing Freeroam
Hello I am new to Mafia Scene. I registered because I would like to play Mafia II with a Freeride mod. The mods are in dlc form, but when I place it into my Mafia II folder and attempt to play the game it tells me I need to purchase the dlc. Any help would be appreciated, I am using Steam version of Mafia II. I tryed to install eXisten’s Freeride JA 2.0. I installed all three setup files and downloaded the Nocd patch, however when I attempt to play it on steam it tells me the steam servers are too busy to handle your request for Mafia II. Error Code (2).
Oh I did not know had to launch from files. It is now working great mod. Thank you all.

you should try Zahar999’s FR mod
it’s not in dlc format
(for FR JA you need the dlc joe’s adventures)

I have a problem with Zahar999’s freeride. Everything works fine but there is most of the time a black sky. When I entered the prsion it takes me there, however sky is all black and vito’s face is black too. Any help on that would be appreaciated.

Have you replaced every file correctly ?
I did, but I also have existen’s freeride. Perhaps It is creating a conflict between the two. Not sure which one to get if I can only have one of em. Love existens’s features and the JA areas. However Zahar999’s has alot more areas. No way to have both of them since they both have different menus?
Have fun with one for a couple of weeks and then the other and by then maybe we will have another version, life is so simple :whistle:
there is no problem having the 2 versions of FR at the same time, even the 3 versions.
– FR M2 is for Game Mafia 2
– FR JA is for DLC Joe’s Adventures

I think you are right Zahar. I first installed eXisten’s, then one I found on stategyinformer, then yours. Maybe the other one messed em up. Some of your files are the same as existens, do I copy and replace or what?

I am not understanding what the problem is. I reinstalled Mafia II and just only installed Zahar999’s freeride. Still the sky is black
