A song I wrote about Mafia II.

I did this back in September of 2010, upon hearing all about the backlash concerning the game. Thought that setting it to the tune of a Shirley Temple song seemed to suit things, so here it is:

Why are many gamers’ faces

Frown a lot like they got screwed

Money money that’s what 2K wants

And milks like crazy loons

Of course they made a big mistake

Wealth and greediness, that sucks

And all them download packs cost bucks

There’s millions worth of angry players

And megabytes of cut content

This game’s short of real success

Mafia 2’s a horrid mess.

There’s billions worth of good ideas

But most of them were scrapped, I guess

It should sell for more than less

I felt they robbed me of my hard-earned money

My game lacked blood and grass

There’s loads of glitches and some blur in places

At least they never asked for added tax

Why would they just cut free-roaming?

And fool a lot of folks and press

So Don Salieri’s depressed
