As I thought this game would grow on me as I played it
Wanted to give an update, now that I am a few more hours into the game
Over all impression 8 out of 10 Stars
The game runs a little sluggy, but that may be my vid card more than the game. After making some adjustments it runs a little smoother

Notables… The whole game can play like a freeride, while driving from place to place one of 40 missionsÃâàcan pop up of regular police work. Every game seems to want to have notable features, Mafia 2 made a big deal of destructible surroundings, this game has it as well, their big puff point is facial expressions, which are really rather good.
Searching for clues is pretty standard, but the interrogation feature is really nice, and you have to pay attention to the facial expressions to catch them in lies.
The city is amazing, truly LA of the era from the traffic, to the gruddy streets to the red cars (which I haven’t tried to see if you can ride…I doubt it.)
Only being in a few chapters the story is compelling and you get the feeling that something is hanging over our boy’s head. The first few Chapters are rather tame and geared for training, but the first detective mission is rather complex.
If you are looking for a shooter, this ain’t it. But if you are looking for something that will immerse you in the era. have a huge city to roam around in with other things to do and something that might stretch your brain with enough action to keep you busy this is a good buy.
