Will the real Salvatore Maranzano Please Stand up
Every time I see the picture of Salvatore Maranazano, victor of the Castellammarese Wars and and Capo Di Tutti Capo for a few months until Luciano dropped him, I don’t see the hardened mob guy. The picture makes him look like a mild mannered fop. Then I ran across this other picture that is purported to also be Maranzno, but it doesn’t look “real” I know photography in the 20’s had advanced, because we have very good pictures of all the other guys…..so what do you think? Same Guy

Same mouth, same hooded eyes, same mark on the forehead..
Different hairline, the nose looks different (though that may be an angle)
The new picture, looks like a friggin mob boss to me.
So would the real Salvatore Maranzano please stand up?

Eh…never mind, take a rest. (After Luciano’s friends had their meeting)
Side question, in the movie “Mobsters” with Christian Slater as Luciano they kept Masseria’s story intact, but they changed Maranzano’s name to Faranzano and changed the way he was killed….any one have a clue as to why they made that change?
Hard to compare, but they look a bit similar to each other. That’s my opinion

You see then someone that was able to have a face change and finger prints burn were unable to find.
