Staff Positions Now Open

Mafia Scene is growing and we’re looking to bring a few solid people onto the team.

We’re currently opening applications for the following roles:

Forum Moderator(s)

We’re looking for level-headed, active members who care about the community and want to help keep things running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce forum rules fairly and consistently

• Monitor reports and moderate posts/topics

• Move, edit, or lock threads when necessary

• Help guide discussions and de-escalate conflicts

• Support new members and answer questions

Ideal Candidates:

• Active on the forums

• Familiar with our rules and culture

• Calm under pressure

• Able to make impartial decisions

Previous moderation experience is a plus, but not required.

Discord Manager(s)

Our Discord is an extension of Mafia Scene and we want it structured, engaging, and aligned with the site.

Responsibilities:

• Manage roles and channel structure

• Oversee moderators and enforce Discord rules

• Organize events, announcements, and community engagement

• Coordinate with site staff for updates and integration

• Maintain a clean, organized server environment

Ideal Candidates:

• Strong Discord knowledge (roles, permissions, bots, etc.)

• Organized and proactive

• Comfortable managing a team

• Active presence on Discord

• Professional behavior

• Respect for members

• Clear communication

• Consistent activity

This is a volunteer position. Staff members represent the site, maturity and reliability matter.
