Its hard to tell with enb on sometimes. I’ll remove Revhancer mod before i try this one, sorry just got back from Movies…

Ok i think its working. I just removed Revhancer Mod & i have to start from beginning of game(in ww2 italy) So its harder to tell. I just checked the dlc section inside the main menu and it seems to be recognizing it :woohoo:

thx again! Maybe i will post some screenshota later with Dxtory and show you. You will know for sure once i hit the streets of Empire Bay. Once im driving around in a vehicle you should be able to tell. I just reinstalled MAFIA II so i dont have any save games + with updates , it says to start a new game….

Like I said, kinda sucks because its im in snow still but ill update as i progress through game

Ok, I know its working now! I uninstalled the “dlcs” install version & just installed “ground_leto.sds” in my “pcsdsground” folder and what do you know? My load game failed and it said “your last save used Empire Bay HQ Textures 2.5 DLC which failed to load. Please install the DLC & load your last save” (not exact words)

This was very reassuring because now I know its working. Works in my “pcsdsground” folder aswell but if you switch install locations be aware, YOU HAVE TO LOAD A NEW GAME!

thx for the help zahar, made all the difference. had no idea Licenced copies needed different install location. Very helpfull info.

So releived! Found a nice little plugin to solve all our Non-Russian speaking Mafia Modders!

Step 1: Download Notepad++ App: Notepad++

Step 2: install Translate
Plugin.

A tutorial can be found here: Translate Plugin for Notepad++

Now you should be able to read GermanRussian read me files. Which is a huge percentage of the Mods for MAFIA II. I wish i found this solution a long time ago. Hope this helped. 👿 👿 👿

Ok, I think i understand the read me noww. If you own a licenced game put “ground_leto.sds” in pcsdsground folder. Only way itll work, correct?

If you DONT own a licenced copy , just stick “cnt_empire_bay_hq_textures_by_bear_grylls” in “pcdlcs” folder!

all my dlc works, not using steam version . So all i do is copyoverwrite “ground_leto.sds”

into pcsdsground folder. Thats it? No copying to pcdlcs folders at all?

Im also little confused as to where the “content” file is supposed to go, or if i am even supposed to use it at all??? heres the file i mean…

is their only one folder i should be placing ground_leto.sds too? Just to pcsdsground and thats it?

is “content” file not used at all? Did he just add that to his Mod zip file by mistake?

So i STILL put “cnt_empire_bay_hq_textures_by_bear_grylls” folder in “pcdlcs” foder, THEN i take the same file from THAT folder i just copied to dlcs folder, and copy it to “pcsdsground” folder? So in the in the end this is what my file structure should look like….

So in the end i should have two copies of “ground_leto.sds” installed.

One in my “pcdlcscnt_empire_bay_hq_textures_by_bear_gryllssdsground” folder

and one in my ” pcsdsground” folder (overwritting the curent one)

Is this correct?

i just ditched BitDefender, Absolute garbage. I grabbed AVG IS 2012 & its a lot better for gaming. I still have problem grabbing this injector with AVG 2012 though. It just does not let me download it at all! Says its a virus EVERYTIME. Im gonn try & add injector to ignore list & see how that goes….
