Welcome back! I also returned to MAFIA 1 TCOLH world modding from 4 years ago and I still play it in my favorite game to this day, but I don’t stop and Ido my own projects of modifying car models and converting cars from different games, while I’m also an old fart and semi retired.

Sorry for the offtopic with the late reply, but I hasten to write that there will be work on car conversions from various games to the game Mafia 1 TCOLH that I can do for free but only with the permission of the authors of the car models. Welcome. I knew that someone like that would be here when someone wrote about my converts because they are interested and like you too. Don’t worry, nothing is happening because no one has left me and I don’t forget about it. As for whether I will have time and when I will return, I can soon organize it in my own at any time, somehow I will be doing vehicle conversions for Mafia 1 before Easter and also after Easter.

At the moment I’m converting car mods, I have several cars to modify and publish, but I have to make up for it with time to get used to it and overcome laziness, we’ll see what will happen in the future, because I have a lot of things to do. If you are looking for a custom car mod which I could convert a given car model from the another game to MAFIA TCOLH, I can do such work. The agreement is that all modders must meet the conditions as stipulated in the Copyright Act and if related entities of authors, they must have consent to use and publish the model, because copyright must be respected, so far I have respected and respected people’s works making car models, so I can arrange it in time. If you have any questions about converting car models, please write to me via PM (private message).
In the next topic I will start with the title “Custom car mod conversion for MAFIA TCOLH” then when I feel like it, I will do it in my free time out of boredom and I will undertake such professional work. There is no screenshot in these car mod archive files of my converts. Just as I knew that I forgot to add these screenshots in these additional files, but I will remember for the future, because I have to look for the rest myself and post it here, and then I will edit it in my earlier post. So I haven’t visited the site in a few years, and I come back now and see that it’s both completely different and also, everything seems to be gone?

I couldn’t log into my old account, so I’m assuming it’s been deleted as it was used on the same email address.

But what bums me out the most is that basically all the old mods seem to be gone, and I can’t find them reuploaded anywhere else.

You or Rob wouldn’t by chance happen to have all the old mods archived?

I’m sorry that I’m going to comment on this topic because I’ll let myself interject. As we know that this previous MS.com site encountered technical problems with the server and all the saved data regarding the structure of the site, elements, source codes with all the content of the site along with attached mod files were deleted for the same administrative reason. Unfortunately, they lost everything they had. I think that the fault lies with another hosting server provider on which the MS.com website was set up, because when everyone introduced changes to the software with PHP and the server host with an outdated version available, the system refused to obey, so it happened that we will never see to the light of day. I have tried to contact the original admin at MS.com, but unfortunately he is not responding because he apparently does not have the time to maintain or work on restoring the entire site. The silence is like on the sea. It is unknown whether this site will be brought back online and I believe from an unofficial source that the site will be continued on this site.

I also join this question and ask whether all old mods downloadable from that previous page will be updated on this website? Unless someone could take care of the issue, upload everything to the download and the matter would be sorted out. I have some mods for Mafia, but I don’t have them at the moment, so I’m sorry.

I decided to write to this friend of modder Mr.Robville and received the resulting response.

Unfortunately it seems that Mafiascene is permanently down. Due to administrative issues, the entire site got wiped clean including any backups. I have since offered to take over the site since the owner simply did not have any time anymore to work on it, but I’ve never received any response on that, assuming that’s a no. This has been a while ago, so I doubt it’ll ever get back online. The same goes for the downloads, which went down with the site also. Most of these had been reuploaded on Mafiascene.net, but I just saw that their download pages are empty as well, though that may be tied to login.
I’d say if you do ever find any mods that used to be on MS.com, please do upload them for preservation sake.

Maybe there will be a good guy who will upload all these archived old mods from MS.com to this MS.net site…. Just wait patiently.
