trouble getting ANY mods to work.

forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask nub questions, but i’m new to all of this.

i have the steam version (yes, tsk tsk), and from what i understand i’ll need to crack the game in order to install mods, or even run a console/lua injector?

i’ve tried to DL a crack from the DL section here but got a broken link, and i tend not to trust random google searches.

can anyone give me the basic rundown, or a proper guide/readme, whatever to get started? hell, i’d be happy with being able to tune cars to stage 3 for the time being ??:

i love the game and i’d love to try some of the content the community is putting out!
