One more thing – you can easily get rid of gangsters if you block the door leading to their parking lot using a crate.

It’s a rare thing, but when you drive a cab in Free Ride, you grab some passenger and when a district where you should take him is shown, a music from that district is played briefly.

Don’t you know how to get the Caesar 8C 2300 Racing car in Free Ride mode?

– Play the race car exhange mission in Free Ride Extreme. (You’ll find the guy in an alleyway right of the road that goes up to Oak Hill from Hoboken)

– When you’ve finished the mission, drive the Caesar racing car to the backyard of Salieri’s bar and park it there.

In Mission 7 Sarah, If you run ahead before Sarah goes into the alley, the other punks come after you and then Sarah will duck down as normal. If you exit into alley from the door that you and Sarah normally go through after the punks have been driven away, they wonôt follow you or attack Sarah.

In second chapter (while being chased by the thugs), we see a peeing man – when he hears shots fired, he will start to escape (but still peeing). That looks very funny

In 8th chapter Frank told Tom to go to the hotel, because Sam and Paulie are very-well known there and they could be killed there. But in 20th chapter Sam told that he could go to the hotel, because Tom couldn’t handle killing somebody.

I began a project on speedrunning Mafia but it seems I am kinda late, mafia scene one of the most active communities for the game has gone down and up again… there were other active forums around which are now (post mafia 2 launch) gone… I haven’t been on any of these sites after 2007 (including this one)… so I have been out of the loop for a long time…

What I am interested in is to find/learn all the glitches/bugs that help you finish the missions faster… so for example

Mission 04 – An Ordinary Routine – Motel

You can shoot the wheel of the car thus sequence breaking the car chase / You can shoot the guy from the window skipping every shootout in the motel thus ending the mission in under 10sec

Bad example is – Rooftops – you can circle around the building, kill the cop with the thompson thus enabling you to go through the rest of the level without having to shoot anyone else.

So I will list all the bugs that I have found out so far, seen or read on videos/walkthroughs.

Molotov Party – this is the earliest mission that you can get the bolt thrower super fast car from the bridge shooting glitch.

Ordinary Routine – shoot the guy through the window

Fairplay – the famous race shortcut – car reset glitch

Creme de la Creme – you can kill morello before he gets to the airport/bridge

Just for Relaxation – you can get papers from the truck just as he exits the harbor, and unload the crates yourself – saving time also you can load the truck while the guy is taking a leak by dropping a few boxes behind him.

I hope there are some still active that can give a bit of advice, I imagine that if someone still plays this game in 2013 – then there must be some tricks/things learned along the way.

At the beginning, I’d like to remind you that there are three ways to kill Morello:

1. Airport ending

2. Bridge ending (riding close to Morello’s car)

3. Ending that let’s you kill Morello yourself (e.g. when his car crashes before reaching the airport or bridge; quite rare)
