is there anybody that knows how to add new cars to the game? I love old cars and an old delage or really any extra cars would be great, I haven’t been able to find any. is adding new cars not possible?

Welcome to mafiascene!

Ok to add new cars to the game, please use MAFIA DATA XTRACTOR

Paste it into your mafia game folder and open it, highlight all of the selections, then click extract. (This will take a while)

Next, go to http://barmafia.free.fr/dlm/categ.php?c … =20&page=1 and search through the pages for a car. Then, when you have downloaded it, copy the files from maps and models folder. Then put them in the mafia game maps and models folder.

Mafia 2 doesn’t have much mod support (Not easy to mod)

thanks alot, I’m noticing that as im trying to edit cars sds files.. and I want to try my hand at modeling, to remove the boxes from the pick up bed, but im failing miserably.

Try using http].

And open the truck in this (using its model name), then you should be able to click the boxes and press the delete button.

Here are the bolt truck model names:

Bolt Truck Flatbed – truckA00.4ds

Bolt Truck Covered – truckB00.4ds

Bolt Truck – truckBx00.4ds

that is very helpful john, I was originally looking for new cars to add to mafia 2, I havent played mafia in years and started back up with mafia 2, so where im at now is trying to find cars or ways to edit cars or the garage for that, but again your tutorial is very good.
