Why is there no 13th floor?

The Number Thirteen is considered very unlucky, mostly in the US. Many buildings won’t have a thirteenth floor and will skip to 14. Like this, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 14. Also, never change your bed on Friday’s, it will bring you bad dreams. If you have thirteen letters in your name you will have Devil’s Luck. ( Example: Jack the Ripper )
