Yeah, I also get very nostalgic playing old classics. But not because of graphics. Most games made in the past bring much more joy than those made nowadays. When I was a little boy I remember myself playing this Rally Championship 2000 Cole mentioned. And it was much more fun than some of today’s racing games. Of course, gamemakers have made a huge progress in graphics and stuff, but man, many games we play today just don’t feel as cool and interesting as the ones made many years ago. For example, not much time ago i decided to complete “James Bond 007: Nightfire” (2002). And it impressed me much more than parts “Quantum of Solace” (2008) or “Blood Stone” (2010). Of course, they were very good as well, but what I wanted to say is that games which bring nostalgia… There was more effort put to make them. But you can find a lot of good NEW games as well.
