Maybe after the release of Mafia III we will have a bigger comunity.
MIII hasn’t been announced yet but it was reported that 2K-Czech participated on developing GTA V in return that Rockstar would help them working on MIII or something like that.
Also if someone ever cracks MII’s data, I’m sure the modding community will grow a lot faster.
The engine MII uses is perfect for many projects. Hell, I would emedietly port the Titanic mod to it if possible.
They already made a exporter for MII’s files to 3ds max, so with a bit of hope they will make a reversed one some day.
