I have a 1280×1024 LCD and CPU is only single-core. I know, my PC is maybe little bit “old-fashioned” but it’s strong enough for what I want to do and it’s built from a “gifts” (old hardware).
BTW: I really like Water Shader Mod for Mafia. What about to including it in your modification?
oh my, this is deffinetly what I have been waiting for!
almost done: ![]()

I need to get into contact with MR F to ask him how he made this and if/how I can use it into the Titanic mod.
Though it’s adviced to turn Anti Alias down to 2X or none, because if higher, the game’s performance really decreases a lot.
Awesome mod!
About your specs, As far as I know, AMD processors are not well known for games, they are better in the 3D rendering industry. But your ammount of GHZ seems to be ok. Mafia doesn’t support multiple cores anyway.
Ofcourse I’m not 100% certain as I never tried any computer like that.
Your GPU card seems too low indeed, with only 265mb. I believe you’ll need at least 512mb, but with todays graphics cards, you have a 1GB GPU for little money. Also your RAM could be a problem I think, considering that windows eats like 1GB from it, and other processes are running on the background. 4GB as the minimum is a recomendation. Also Memory doesn’t cost much these days.
But besides hardware I would recommend running the game using gamebooster, it really helps increasing the frames.
@CP
I will do my best to get the atmosphere onboard the ship right. And it seems very possible for me.
In earlier stages of the interior being tested, I played a song “An der scḫ̦nen blauen Donau” from Strauss on the background, and it really set the atmosphere right. It really had this classy feeling throughout the first class corridors and rooms. And thinking of the dirty boiler rooms below deck only increases this feeling.
