Mafia III????
Has anyone heard anything at all on the development of Mafia III yet? I’m just wondering if we can expect it to be out this year especially since all of the other major games for this year have already been announced. Maybe they put the kybosh on it and no one knows or they just aren’t ready yet. Just some speculation of mine.
I have no idea how this works and someone might be able to give you a more specific answer.. But R* and 2k is both under Take2, and since gta5 is a major title they won’t release both the same year.. Furthermore, usually when an announcement is made, release would be a year from the announcement, this can however be pushed back further.

Don’t take my word for it, but it’s unlikely to be out this year imo, but I’m sure the next ‘big thing’ they talk about at their twitter, will be M3.

I’m used to say hope is the last to die, so i still wish of M3. Unfortunately, reality appears to be different.. :dry:
We already reached july, well past the half of the year, and all we can see is absolute silence.
I don’t think possible to have a game in the works without any little info about it published

for what i herd the game will be relese with the new version of XBoX and PS4

Major project of this year is GTA V , so i dont think M3 will be released this year

A few days ago I went through something interesting in terms of a possible game anouncement that could be a mafia sequel. 2kczech which developed both mafia games is now making an entry in the social media starting a facebook and twitter account ( both official ) and at the same time they said a new site for their company is about to be launched in early August. It goes without saying that the majority of people who ask them (in facebook and twitter ) about a possible new game anouncement always mention a sequel for Mafia 2.
I believe it’s the right time for a new mafia game to come out because new generation consoles are launching at the end of the year and around 3 years have passed since Mafia 2 which is hell of a time for a game to be developed. All we got to do is wait with fingers crossed and hope for the best.
