Reply To: L.A. Noire not starting up

Finally!

After a lot of struggle, I found some fix at a website that game developers don’t like and installed it.

The game ran, and prompted for the patch again, I guessed it wouldn’t harm to try anyway, even last 2 attempts failed.

And surprisingly the patch downloaded 100% and now the game works!

At last!

When I’m done playing I’ll upload the patch file here in case any fellow googler with the same issue comes across this page.
