I removed the game and started to reinstall it, but the “Install” window says that “Setup will install files for Steam to the following folder.” So it looks to me like there’s no way to install Mafia 2 without going through Steam. And if I install Steam, the mods won’t work.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a way to bypass installing Steam when you install Mafia 2?
