Thanks for the replies. The only thing I know to try is to go to the Steam site and click on “Play offline.” But when I try to open it then it still shows the Steam launch.

I did not know that it is possible to play without using Steam. If there’s a way to uninstall the game and then re-install it without Steam, I’d really like to do that. Does anyone know if that is possible?
