Title: Change distance at which an occluder disappears
Post by: Hunter on May 19, 2025, 12:28:50 PM
Hi. Is this possible? Obviously it was something the developers selected.

AsaSK said Boz tree editor could do it. But all I see in an occluder is dimensional and positional data. Maybe it's in game.exe or something.

Hi there, AsaSK did say Boz Scene Tree Editor could do it, but he was referring to this part of the data:

The "Occluders Placement" section of Boz's vid below (07:51) should help you with setting up custom occluders.

Oh well, please thank him for me then.

I watched the video, but it seems like what he's doing is repositioning an occluder and copying the coordinates into the editor.

That's unfortunate. Do you use 3DS Max or Blender? There (very recently) have been tools developed/posted that either do/will have some form of occluder functionality (though they're both a bit limited with exporting and also slightly buggy, at least currently).

I think I have the answer. Thanks for your efforts.
