Yeah, I can't vew it here on my end. All I got it is an Unregistered Domain error.

I'm afraid not. It seems like Imageshack doesn't like new referrers, and is asking site admins to add their site to IS's whitelist so that images can be displayed.

Here is what I have so far, I have been busy in RL and the Delizia 410 GrandeAmerica is not dead, I will keep working on the most beautiful car in Mafia II, in wich sadly never made it to release.

Please, do let me know on your thoughts, I would say it is 40% done on exterior. ( Also there will be a hood scoop and mirrors etc, this is just the base atm. )

Thanks Josh, yeah so far so good, the interior part will be the same as the Delizia from the game model that was released with JA, because the interior in that model, is the REAL original Delizia interior.

I am glad you like it thus far Cole, it's alot of fun re-creating the ORIGINAL Delizia. When done wich should be before christmas, I would love to see the Delizia drivable in Mafia I, or if someone from GTAIV wants to put the Delizia in, that would be cool, the best is if before Christmas, Zmod release the import for Mafia II!

I use Blender, btw, if someone can, I need the Delizia file in .3ds form from Mafia II, people can export models now from Mafia II, I would love to have the file from JA in .3ds so I can place the wheels on and the interior file wich is the original interior from the Delizia.

I am 25% done so far, the Delizia 410 is looking SO DAMN HOT, and it's not even completed yet, I've done tons of resorce work and building to get the car exactly correct, I am missing at this stage window frames, mirrors, door handles, logo's, interior, and engine etc. Please, do tell me your thoughts, I would love to know your reaction.


 




@MetalCat, my goal is to finish it before christmas.

Thanks man, it really is hard making this car considering there is no blueprints available. Concerning the on-screen display of GC 09' I can try to help you sure, but I can't make any promises, never edited a on-screen display before.

Thanks Cole, I appreciate it, real hard to build that car, upon 50% of completion I will need the Delizia 3D file from in-game so I can install the original seats, dash etc, into the car, because the JA DLC Delizia has the ORIGINAL interior from the ORIGINAL delizia.

Please tell me how you all like it, I can't do much else at this time without the original Delizia model from FR JA due to interior model and textures, and of course the import filter, if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks guys, I am glad you all love it so far, it's real hard making that car, there is no blueprints, I use mainly advert photo's that 2k released as reference pics.

I think, that I know how change 3d models


 




I can be wrong, but I think, that:




1) You extract file with ExSDS




2) You work with extracted file, without changing name




3) You open sds file with SDS Tool Gui (for example delizia.sds) (to open press ">" )




4) Copy your file to the "extracted"




5) Open SDS tool again, find delizia.sds, and press "<"




If you need link for SDS Tool Gui, I'll give it.

Work is coming along great, I got the Normals and Dirt layers and the base specular map for the body panels, I've got pretty much exactly like what the game requires on the car in blender, got a few more things to add dirt on like the chrome etc, and the interior is still empty atm I am awaiting the use of the Delizia 3D model from the JA DLC because the interior is the exact from the original Delizia.

Well, I didn't actually import any models from the game into blender just yet, I just took the textures from the Delizia_grandeamerica.sds file and created the wheels from scratch and textured them from the cars-universal.sds. Only time I need to import the Delizia from JA DLC is actually my next thing, because I need the interior 3D object, including the windscreen wipers and the license plate. I am not sure at all how to export the Delizia from the JA DLC but if you know, please do tell me.

I appreciate the comments, concerning release date, if we had a Zmod2/3 filter for Mafia II, I could give a definite release date, but I guess the release date is anywhere in next month (February), until then I will update my pictures and work.

@MetalCat, Well adding the engine is not that hard at all, and it is HIGHLY possible to see it released by end of this month, but of course, I can have it done within 2 weeks I think, just you never know what will go on with Mafia I and the Zmodeler import system, I have asked a friend of mine about it since he knows Zmod up and down and I look forward to his reply and see if we can hook the Delizia in Mafia I and make it entirely drivable.

85% Done! Body work is done, all that is left, is scripting it for the game engine.

I exported the Delizia model from Joe's Adventures, and used the engine pieces and trunk space and some chassis pieces are from the game, but what sucks is that there was no UV's included in the export, I had to redo all the texturing, I only started from bare meshes, but now it's all done (apart from the license plate), and I am now looking forward to seeing it into Mafia I and hopefully soon Mafia II.

I am thrilled to announce that Mr.Robville is converting the Delizia into Mafia I, not sure exactly when he is able to finish it, but I honestly appreciate his time for the Delizia project, I wanted to do it myself but I have way too little knowledge about Zmodeler. there are still some bugs in it. the steering wheel doesn't move, and the passenger door is moving inward. also the windows transperancy needs to be altered.


 




Besides that, she works like a charm!




I had some trouble with the scale though, it's not a big car so I was quickly misleaded to scale the car too big than it was before. now it's about 1.2 meters tall, 4 meters long and 1.7 meters wide.

I want to say that the release by Mr.Robville is not finalized, it still is in abit of work, and the scale may or may not be enlarged, but never theless it's a brilliant conversion and I am certainly pleased, thank you to everyone for your support, and please, do enjoy the Delizia 410 in Mafia I, I've included the red paint colour in this version of release as well with all new textures that make the Delizia blend in so well with the city.

I played and tested it about 30 minutes. I want to say that Delizia is briliant, Mike. Also, it looks awesome at night time with four lights at the front. Once again, congratulations of well done job :lol: And about the scale, it could be enlarged a bit. Could I suggest making it in other colors (red can be left, but I'll be glad to see it coloured hmmm black or blue - yeah, sth like that).

Instructions... Save a texture of your choice below, rename it to "Body_Dirt" make sure you save it as a .bmp, then simply place that texture into the folder "maps" of the main directory of Mafia I.

Hey Mike, this set of colours you made for us is brilliant. I especially fancy the black version - I currently have installed the black version of Delizia. Also, I like the look of front four lights and the rear ones also.

Scaling up the car seemed far more easier than I initially thought.




The scale is now way better indeed.




Sadly I can only add 4 diffrent colors ingame. I discarded the grey one.

That's nothing, Mr Robville, it's good that Delizia can be rescaled at all. How many times is it enlarged (2x, 3x or what ?). And one more thing - can Tommy fit into the car - are his legs in the car (and not through the floor)?

At the moment, no. Zmodeler's a pain in the ass for me to use as I'm accustomed to Max. You can rely on me if you want to have it converted to San Andreas, though.

It was a mostly straight port, as I only made some material changes (i.e. paint colour slots, etc.) and damaged body panels, among other things.

Thank you so very much Lpg_unit, I will say though, we gotta change the textures on the tail lights, the Delizia has all red brake lights in original game. And the headlamps, fog lights, indicators, are textured all wrong, I do not say this at all to offend, as you did an incredible job with importing it into the game, just it needs some tweeking with the textures, if you require, I can edit them for you or make it work for the engine, I love to do work on the Delizia.  <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile.png" alt="(//smile.gif)" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">

Mike, your Delizia with snow textures is amazing. But you could do sth with driving style, 'cause it's very unstable while turning left or right with 60 mph. I've made a decision, and I am going to import the Delizia into GTAIV, I have no prior experience with Zmodeler, but I am going to buckle down, and learn it, and bring the beautiful Delizia into GTAIV, within 2 weeks I should have some photo's etc on my progress, it's a big job for me as well, since I know nothing about code, so it's gonna be fun. But also know, it may take me a while, but I will do my best to keep at it.

From what I saw when I imported the Faggio from IV to Zmod, I think it'll be just a matter of moving and linking dummies and stuff like that. It's just that I find Zmodeler to be a bit clunky compared to 3DS Max.

Things are going along awesomely, I will say this, I've wanted to import cars into GTA and learn Zmodeler for quite abit of years, but I hesitated, and did not buy the software of fear over my own problem with learning it, I finally bought the software, and LOVE IT! I plan to post some awesome pics of my Delizia this weekend!


 




I will also say, i've had to redo the body panels, make them really hi-definition, so they equalize with the other cars in the city, and plus the reflections on it look brill, I can't wait to show it off this weekend. I will also say, that Zmodeler sounds harder, than it actually is, if you've hesitated over it, don't, you don't even have to code, it's REALLY easy to learn, it works kinda like a replacement tool of the former models, like example... let's call this file from main game "GTA_Turismo_Shell" I import my body/shell into the scene, replace the original shell with my new and rename it to GTA original, and voila! It is really incredible how easy it was for me to learn it, I am kinda pissed for hesitating for many years over it, LOL.

Actually converting cars with Zmodeler, is 100x easier than I thought for the past 5-7 years. I can walk you through and I may create a whole tutorial here on Zmodeler of importing to IV, it is quite easy, literally.

Well texture assignment is abit of a pain, I believe you can only use the materials within each model, you can't add a material that I know of thus far, so it's a bit of a pain but workable.

Which is too bad. Reminds me so much of The Sims 3, since you can only use a single material for the whole model (one material ID, multiple textures for specular, normal map, etc.), unless if it has glass or something.

there is no SDK to change the 3D file of Mafia 2.

I have delayed the work on for the past month or 2, due to very busy times in RL, but I plan to be wide open once again, and finally finish the car in GTAIV, when Zmodeler 3 is released, with the Mafia II filter, I will be including it, into Mafia II. And i've read you posts, I agree entirely, that is why I made this car, if you like, please do checkout the 1st page, I've got a whole compilation of my efforts, I have completely, re-made the Delizia 410, the original, and brought it back to life, all that is needed, is a Mafia II filter, Lol.  <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/biggrin.png" alt="(//bigsmile.gif)" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">


 




For the meantime, checkout the Delizia 410, in GTASA, or Mafia I, Mafia I model was converted by Mr.Robville the legend behind the Titanic Mod, and the GTA SA conversion, was done by lpg_unit, wich did a lovely job.

I've tried this on GTA SA, and it was FAN-TASTIC!  :woohoo:  You mean you built the body from scratch? With model seen only on trailer? That's VERY impressive!   (//wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/ohmy.png) hmy:




I'll be waiting for the Mafia 2 version, your Delizia looks about 101% better than the Joe's adventures one. Oh god I hope ZModeler will have that filther...  :lol:

Thank you Roy, I did model 90% of the whole car, the last 10% was pieces from the actual Mafia II game, like the interior, the engine block, the steering, I actually modeled the wheels trunk and chassis, I pretty much made my model, wrap around a Mafia II model, for what I think, fits and looks just like the original Delizia.  <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile.png" alt="(//smile.gif)" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">

That'll be great but so far there's no import/export filter for Zmod; you can import models from Mafia 2 via 3DS Max, but the format isn't well understood so you won't be able to convert models as what I've said earlier.

Thank you B1010, sadly since the start of this year I have been jammed up with alot of work, as soon as I get an open week, I am going to finish that conversion.  <img src="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile.png" alt="(//smile.gif)" data-emoticon="" srcset="/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">  I REALLY want to conver the Delizia to the actual Mafia II game, but sadly only IV for me, but we do have it converted thankfull to 2 lovely members, Mr.Robville did the M1 conversion, and lpg_unit did a lovely conversion into GTA SA.

If it ever becomes possible to replace cars in the game it would be fun to see the fantasy cars replaced with their rule counterparts with higher resolution interiors!

Due to Zmodeler 3 not being released, there is no actual way yet to import these vehicles into the game, we can only pull models out, I really hope we can see Zmod 3 released before the year ends, I'd really LOVE to bring the Delizia where it belonged, rather than the modded DLC version.
