I don’t think I’ve ever seen lighting this smooth in the old Mafia engine, and as for the reflections, just wow… They look pretty real to me haha  Absolutely incredible!

Silly as it may sound, what I’d love the most is wheel support on PC. I loved cruising around in Lost Heaven and Empire Bay, so it’d be quite nice if I was given the opportunity to do it properly in this game as well

I see now. If I understand correctly, the patch has to be installed one folder before Mafia II folder. Let’s say you have your game in    >>>C rogram FilesMafia II<<>>GamesMafia II<<<     then the update goes to "Games". What did you mean exactly by “directory problem”? You weren’t able to install it?

Hmmm… To tell you the truth I’ve no clue. And if this didn’t work, then I’m out of ideas on how to get the update.

Damn, this looks sad. I’ve never had win8 or a dx11 GPU, but I’ve never encountered this problem neither with dx9 nor dx10 (above 8.1, according to the same logic). So not sure if I can help you. Let’s hope some other members know of a way to cope with this problem

All the rest are fake as well. Firstly, so far it has not been possible to replace car models in Mafia 2, since the game devs left no such option for modders. And it’s easy to see that the other ones are hoaxes as well. Open, say, the BMW image and zoom in, you’ll see the car has been photoshoped into the screenshot. I am almost 100% sure these are not legit.
