I was a member from what I am guessing before the forum had to be rebuilt.
Seems I missed a lot as I missed the definitive editions and have yet to play Mafia 3. It also loos like I missed the renewed interest by at least a year and that the forum has dwindled. It looks like I am the first post of the new year.

Is there a reason all of the mods from back in the day are no longer available?
I am not as savvy as I was searching but I just brought my old computer back from the grave and was able to play Mafia 1 once again. I see not mention of the hidden jumps in FRE nor the glitch areas where you can enter certain areas.

I seem to remember something about a door in the works quarter and what it did. I thought I found it and the result may have been a coincident, but after that my recent saved games of FRE became corrupt.

Anyone still playing or modding in 2025?

Yeah, the old site is gone but it seems like someone bought the domain and is possibly working on a new site? I’m not sure. I wish I had known the domain reg was going to expire and I would have tried to buy it myself.

There is no screenshot in these car mod archive files of my converts. Just as I knew that I forgot to add these screenshots in these additional files, but I will remember for the future, because I have to look for the rest myself and post it here, and then I will edit it in my earlier post. Just wait a moment and I’ll sort it out. Thanks for the reminder.

Working on getting those uploaded here. Do your files have screenshots with them that I can use for the uploads?

I do have a lot of files that I haven’t uploaded. A lot of them were uploaded by a member and some of them do not have text files that tell me what they are. So, I have files but don’t know exactly what they are. I’ll upload more when I get a chance.

Anyone who is in the “modder” group here at MS does have the ability to upload their mod to the site.

I maintain a policy here that any staff member/modders that were at the old website have my full confidence and support in terms of permissions. Hopefully together we can continue to build a great community that loves and enjoyed the Mafia game genre. 

So I haven’t visited the site in a few years, and I come back now and see that it’s both completely different and also, everything seems to be gone?

I couldn’t log into my old account, so I’m assuming it’s been deleted as it was used on the same email address.

But what bums me out the most is that basically all the old mods seem to be gone, and I can’t find them reuploaded anywhere else.

Could anyone fill me in what happened? I’m guessing a change of ownership happened.

The short is that it seems with the software that MS(com) was running on, it was not compatible with the newest versions of php and the host didn’t seem to be interested in keeping outdated version available. (from a security point, this makes sense)

MS(net) was created years ago when MS(com) had similar issues so that members could re-connect and collaborate as they did on MS(com).

Are you talking about the story line mission or in Free Ride mode? Once you pick up a passenger it should show you on the minimap where to take them.

I didn’t know this was ever an issue. Thanks for providing that info to the community.
