The Mafia modding community never sleeps and once again, @AsaSK has raised the bar.
His latest work, Project Bogart, isn't a traditional modification but a cinematic experiment pushing the limits of the classic Mafia engine.
From the very first teasers, fans have been struck by the project's moody atmosphere, smooth lighting, and cinematic framing.
With shafts of light pouring through shutters, reflections rippling across vintage cars, and smoky dreamlike interiors, Project Bogart feels less like a game mod and more like a lost film reel rediscovered from the 1940s.
What's Inside Project Bogart?
Project Bogart isn't just eye candy — it's proof of how far creativity can push the original Mafia engine.
More than two decades after release, modders like AsaSK are finding new ways to surprise us with artistry and technical mastery.
Whether it becomes a full short film, a playable sequence, or simply a showcase of what's possible, Project Bogart already feels like a milestone for Mafia modding.

Quote"I don't think I've ever seen lighting this smooth in the old Mafia engine... as for the reflections, just wow... absolutely incredible!"
What's Inside Project Bogart?
- Cinematic Sets – Carefully detailed locations designed for camera work, atmosphere, and storytelling.
- Dynamic Lighting & Reflections – Experimental techniques, including a "fake SSR" reflection system, bring an almost modern feel to an aging engine.
- Vintage Vibes – Post-processing gives Vegas sequences a hazy "Vaseline lens" look, echoing the golden age of noir cinema.
- Ongoing Progress – AsaSK continues refining sets, experimenting with scripting, and fine-tuning effects as the project evolves.

We have reached out to Microsoft to ask the reason and they have not given any specific reason why they have blocked our emails.
Mafia Scene has a stellar record on email delivery and no issues with spam emails so we are not sure why our email delivery is being rejected by their servers.
We will continue to work on this issue. In the meantime, we recommend you use a non Microsoft email address to sign up for a new Mafia Scene account so you can get the activation email and subsequent emails from our message board.

Mafia 4 upcoming production game play just got leaked and this game was running on the latest Unreal Engine 5.2. Recently, one of the guys at Hanger 13 shared some information about their upcoming Mafia game. This is what he said in the interview:
QuoteI'm happy to confirm we've started work on an all-new Mafia project! While it's a few years away and we can't share anything more right now, we're really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories.
It was pretty much confirmed that the latest Mafia game is in development and another leak stated that we will be playing as Don Salieri and the game will be set in Sicily.
There is this brand new leaked game play that's surfacing across the internet and a lot of people are believing that this could be the new Mafia 4 footage. It's early footage and it looks incredible. Some people pointed out that the car's plate shows "Texas" on it but it is being speculated that this could just be a placeholder.
Rumors are always exciting but we can confirm that Mafia 4 is being developed. As to the "leaked footage" goes, it looks great but we can't 100% confirm it is from the new Mafia 4 game.
