By using this forum, you agree to follow the rules below.
1. Staff Authority
Our Staff team exists to maintain a safe and enjoyable community.
Staff may:
- Edit, move, lock, or delete posts and topics
- Issue warnings
- Temporarily suspend or permanently ban accounts
- Remove content that violates guidelines
If a Staff Member asks you to stop or adjust behavior, you are expected to comply. Ignoring staff direction may escalate disciplinary action.
2. Moderation & Enforcement
Moderation is handled case-by-case.
We use a progressive discipline system when appropriate:
- Level 1 – Official Warning
- Level 2 – 24 Hour Suspension
- Level 3 – 3 Day Suspension
- Level 4 – 7 Day Suspension
- Level 5 – Extended Suspension (Up to 8 Weeks)
- Level 6 – Permanent Ban
Severe violations (harassment, hate speech, illegal content, etc.) may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban without prior warning.
Warnings are not automatically removed and are reviewed at Staff discretion.
3. Respect & Conduct
Be respectful. Always.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
- Threats or intimidation
- Doxxing or sharing private information
- Encouraging self-harm or violence
We allow heated discussion. We do not allow personal attacks.
4. Content Standards
Content posted must:
- Be legal
- Be relevant to the section
- Be understandable and readable
- Avoid excessive formatting (all caps, full bold posts, unreadable colors, etc.)
Prohibited content includes:
- Pornographic or sexually explicit material
- Pirated content or “warez”
- Links to illegal downloads
- Graphic real-world violence
- Malware or malicious links
Keep avatars and signatures PG-13. Excessively large or disruptive signatures may be removed.
5. Posting Guidelines
Before creating a new topic:
- Use search to avoid duplicates
- Post in the correct section
- Stay on topic
Duplicate topics may be merged or removed.
Double posting is discouraged — please use the edit function unless a significant amount of time has passed.
Spam, flooding, or posting meaningless content (emoji-only replies, one-word bumps, etc.) may result in moderation.
6. Advertising & Promotion
Advertising, self-promotion, referral links, or commercial solicitation is not allowed without Staff approval.
Using private messages for unsolicited promotion is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.
7. Private Messaging
The private messaging system is a privilege.
Harassment, threats, or inappropriate content sent via private messages will be handled seriously and may result in suspension or permanent ban.
If you receive abusive messages, report them.
8. Reputation / Karma System
Reputation features should be used responsibly.
Abusing karma/reputation tools to target, harass, or manipulate another member is not permitted.
9. Privacy & Data
We respect user privacy.
Information collected during registration is used solely for account and community functionality. We do not sell personal data.
Users are responsible for protecting their own personal information. Do not share sensitive information publicly.
10. Illegal Activity
While Mafia Scene centers around fictional criminal themes in gaming, real-world criminal activity is not tolerated.
Any attempt to use this platform for illegal purposes will result in permanent removal and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
11. Final Notes
These guidelines may be updated at any time to reflect evolving community standards.
