What We Hope To See In Mafia III

I would love to see a setting around the 60's 70's or 80's, back in Lost Heaven. It would be a fresh sequel with a new era and it would be great to see how the city evolved through time.

There were 1514 sacks of potatoes stored within cargo hold 1. Of course there are not that many on this screenshot. I will keep this hold more empty than it should have been for exploration's sake. In reallife it would have probably been filled to the top. Firemen's tunnel   Just for fun, a render of how the Renault Coupe DeVille appeared in James Cameron's movie. This car won't stay here in the actual mod due to several inaccuracies from the movie;  As you can notice, the area is a lot smaller and does not include a staircase. Motor cargo was actually stored two decks above. And the cargo hatch could not even make the car fit. And most importantly; for transatlantic crosses, each vehicle would have been crated. So unless Jack had a crowbar with him there would have been no way of getting in that thing. In the actual mod, this car will be located within it's proper hold and crated. Don't worry, you will gonna see it.

Thanks a lot! There will be a storyline within the mod with plenty of shooting and fighting around the ship. Â Time for updates! Â I've been doing some more work on the forward cargo holds: Â A lifesized replica of this section can be found in Belfast: Â

It has been some time, but I have some new work to show: These are just renders at the moment. I haven't had much time to do a lot of work the past few weeks unfortunately due to exams. Hopefully I'll be able to create a lot of new content the coming weeks. Once all objects are made, the other remaining boiler rooms will go a lot faster to produce since only the piping, catwalks and funnel manifold need to be altered. Also ModDB's Mod of the year contest is being held. Don't forget to vote! Â http://www.moddb.com/mods/mafia-titanic-mod

It's time to share an update in here. It has been a while. I'm currently working on the ship's boiler room. The boilers: Watertight door: Ash ejectors: And of course, the boiler room itself, frames only: Â Also, I'm pleased to announce that all weapons have been finished:

Thanks guys! @CP, I'm sorry to hear that... Something that might be interesting to search for is DCA. It has proven effective against this disease. The reason you never hear of it is because it's cheap and free of patent. Hospitals lose money on using it therefore it's not being used. However, it is available on the market I believe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dichloroacetic_acid http://www.lifeslittlemysteries.com/1444-big-pharma-ignoring-potential-cancer-cure-dca.html I think it's sickening that this cure is not promoted in the medical world simply because there's no business... Resembling a quote of Tommy Angelo: People are rather rich and dead instead of poor and alive.

    Hello everyone! and I'm very sorry for the absence! Due to MS.com's comeback I was a bit occupied with helping setting that website back up and removing many early spammers. I got some new footage to show! [video width=500 height=400] [video width=500 height=400] Two new videos. One showing the 1st class public places on A deck and the other one shows a timelapse video of first class cabins being made on that same deck as wel. Screenshots of the furniture: And: I'm sending a call for modelers! http://www.moddb.com/jobs/modelers-wanted-for-mafia-titanic-mod ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

It has been a few days since my last update here, I wish everyone a happy new year! I have some interesting news item from the graphics department to start a good year First, take a look at this: Some people might have heard of the ENB series before. If not, what this does is that it enhances Mafia's LS3D engine graphic wise and adding features such as bloom effects, motion blur, ambient occlusion etc. These comparison shots are taken with default ENB applied to it. It might need some tweaking later on by someone with more experience. Altough you might think this looks too blurry, for some reason this really is an atmosphere enhancer! As you can see, ENB has a slight impact on the FPS rate. But don't you worry, with a simple Shift+F12 press on your keyboard you can enable or disable it. So if you don't like it and hate bloom or motion blur effects, don't touch it. By default ENB is disabled. Some of you might worry about the FPS rate with no ENB at all on the outside ship which is 24 FPS at some points. Luckely there's nothing to fear. These screenshots ware taken with 4X anti aliasing which is a bomb on FPS (with 2X AA, the average lies within 30-40 FPS) But also when the mod is completed, a low resolution texture pack will be available as the option to remove the sun's enhanced sun rays which also take some FPS when looked at. Also the ocean's model will be replaced later on which will have less polygons. Good thing about the sector usage is as you can see, the smoking room has a FPS of 47 while this is located in the same scene as the exterior. So each interior sector has it's own independent FPS rate. Also for FPS increasing, a free copy of gamebooster will be delivered with downloading MTM. But also Djbozkosz has some new progress made: It's still WIP, certain adjustments are still needed and yes, there is smoke coming from Funnel 4, which is not supposed to. But look at the result!

Thank you very much! Today I have something real importand yet great to announce! First, let the images speak for themselves: I'll just say, Djbozkosz, thank you! Finally with also great thanks to Kyle Hudak for modelling the room I am pleased to announce that after 6 years of development, the first room finally got finished ingame! It's a milestone. To have a better Idea of what I'm talking about, without Djbozkosz's help, this very room would look like this: Also another comparison:
